Writings by Design is in search of an intern to assist with writing tasks and light research. The chosen intern should be familiar with AP Style and have some previous writing/research experience (i.e. school newspaper, church newsletter, etc.). Journalism and Communication students preferred, but consideration will be given to all qualified candidates.
Intern duties include, but are not limited to, the following:Construction of articles of various lengthsConducting light researchGeneration of article topics
Please note, this position is very flexible, as the chosen intern will be permitted to work remotely and will be able to generally create his or her own work hours as long as tasks are completed by predetermined deadlines.The desired start date for the position is Monday, June 20, 2011. Applicants who can begin by the desired start date are preferred. If the applicant is unable to start by the desired start date, the applicant should briefly state the reason why in his or her cover letter. All applicants should include the desired duration of the internship (i.e. indefinitely, through the summer, etc.)
