Kaliki is a startup that is going to change the print publishing industry. We produce technology that transcodes magazines so they can be listened to as podcasts.

Experience isn’t an issue.
We need someone who can pick things up quickly and is driven to figure stuff out.
We are located in Sunny San Diego, CA, but if you would like to telecommute, thats fine too. We will let you know when we need you in the office.

The job will be to help us do what we do even better.
Our back end runs python on google app engine, and we have a number of front end clients, so if you have experience or insatiable curiosity on python, app engine, or mobile development (iphone, android, symbian, flash lite, javame, windows mobile), then you might be interested in working with us.

What we think is more important:

- The ability to get things done
- The desire to be a generalist and get your hands dirty
- Pointers to your website, blog, stackoverflow posts, github checkouts, open source project contributions, mobile applications, or other assets that demonstrate that you like to think about, communicate, build and fix stuff.

The base salary is 50k-75k, and the total compensation package includes:
- Fully funded and matched 401k
