NY Data Analyst job, FT, Financial District

ALM Media has a great opportunity for a Web Data Analyst who wants to make a difference in the digital media world. The analyst will work with business stakeholders across all the businesses. Leveraging data from our newly implemented SiteCatalyst web analytics platform a typical day will include analysis, ad hoc reports, and design reports that will help the stakeholders drive better business decisions.

Responsibilities:
Analyze quantitative data to gain actionable insight; make strategic recommendations
Work with internal stakeholders to understand their reporting needs and develop reports and dashboards
Develop a data-distribution strategy
Identify opportunities to improve reporting and analysis
Complete ad-hoc requests for web analytics data support
Train SiteCatalyst users within the company
Work with marketing to track and optimize online advertising campaigns
Develop acquisition, behavior, and outcome segments
Ensure pages carry proper tracking tags; validate and audit data


Requirements:

2-3 years relevant experience (SiteCatalyst and HBX)
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
Background in online marketing
Proven analytical and problem --solving abilities
Good data pattern recognition skill
Ability to perform ad hoc analyses on data sets
Highly motivated with keen attention to detail
Extreme customer satisfaction mindset
Able to prioritize and execute tasks
