Freelance Blogger job, paid monthly by pageviews

Freelance Blogger job, paid monthly by pageviews

We’re looking for a few good bloggers for an up-and-coming CBS Interactive site: SmartPlanet.com.

Note that these aren't internships -- these are paid freelance gigs, with bylines.

The beats in question: design (industrial, process, product) and architecture (LEED, automation, etc.). If you love reading GOOD or Dwell or Fast Company and enjoy watching TED videos, this gig's for you.

Specifically, we’re looking for an intellectually curious Jack or Jill of all trades that can riff on new projects, talk some business if needed and, most importantly, find us smart people -- designers, architects, thought leaders -- to interview from various industries and circles of expertise.

The gig: Give us at least one post a day with a good mix of curation (quick bites on the day's news) and original reporting (Q&As, profiles, event coverage and the like).

The test: Pick three interesting items or people in the news and blog them with voice, accuracy and a dash of showmanship. (Please, no more than 500 words each.) Then email them to editor Andrew Nusca (andrew.nusca@cbsinteractive.com).
