Hiring System Administrator / DBA
AdminGeekZ Ltd is looking for a Linux System Administrator to join our small but talented team. This is a remote, work from home office, position with flexible hours. The ideal candidates should enjoy technology, be self taught, capable of troubleshooting and comfortable at all levels of the LAMP stack.
Day to day duties will involve providing production level support to our customer base via our SLA helpdesk and telephone. Monitoring, securing and maintaining each customers environment. Training will be provided for the specific technologies we use however candidates will absolutely require the ability to self-teach and troubleshoot unknown problems.

Being comfortable troubleshooting and identifying performance problems (almost always database related), designing and working with high-availability setups are all vital required skills.

- Proficient in at least one of the following, (c, c++, perl, php, python)
- Shell scripting
- Experience with Red Hat/RPM based distributions (RHEL, CentOS, Fedora)
- Real world production mySQL experience (Performance, Security, InnoDB, Replication)
- Experience with monitoring, alerting and trending systems/software
